<p><img class="alignnone" title="Twitter" src="http://www.puremedia-online.de/fileadmin/Extern/Twitter_logo.png" alt="" width="200" height="46" />In search of a business model Twitter is taking a deeper look at the many businesses using its service as marketing, customer service and promotion tool. In order to make money with business tools and ad-ons in the near future Twitter now tries to increase the number of business accounts.<span id="more-126"></span></p>
<p>A first step is the release of a guide for businesses. The so called <a title="Twitter 101 guide" href="http://business.twitter.com/twitter101" target="_blank">Twitter 101</a> guide gives advice to those businesses planning on using Twitter or already doing so. It starts with the basics, explains the Twitter vocabulary and presents best practices and case studies of  companies using Twitter successfully such as <a title="Dell Twitter profile" href="http://twitter.com/DellOutlet" target="_blank">Dell</a> or <a title="Pepsi Twitter profile" href="http://twitter.com/pepsi" target="_blank">Pepsi</a>.</p>
<p>You can find the whole guide <a title="Twitter 101 guide" href="http://business.twitter.com/twitter101" target="_blank">online</a> or download a summary <a title="download Twitter 101" href="http://business.twitter.com/twitter101/download" target="_blank">here</a>. We are using Twitter as well. You can follow our tweets <a title="puremedia Twitter profile" href="http://www.twitter.com/puremediateam" target="_blank">@puremediateam</a>.</p>
